Can anyone provide some information on writing code to do Gauss-Jordan eliminations in vba? I am new to programming and struggling a bit. Anything can help.
I hope someone here can help. I've posted a question in the Techie Talk forum to see whether someone there can help with translating the algorithm found here to VB or VBA.
Got one response so far over in Techie Talk. Here's a link. The page that is mentioned there appears to include a VB program that does something along the lines you asked about. Don't know whether source is available or not, though.

You want to try it out yourself too and post some code. You will need to make use of 2dim arrays (if you have such things in vba). I take it the user inputs their system of equations and you want to use Gauss-Jordan to solve it or do you want to use it to find the inverse of a square matrix?
