I have a datetime field, when I leave this field I am trying to call some
validation on the date enered, namely that the date cant be ahead of today.
My validation checks the date entered against todays date. If the user

I have been using access database with asp.net pages. I just realized a problem with date saving in access table. I didnt give any specific format for the date when saved in tables, because I wanted to control the date formats from another page, what ever type selected, the date should be displayed in that format, US, UK, short date etc etc.

I would like to calculate the date difference between two dates using field names which I have in my table.
The field name is " Account opened on" for eg
If the "Account open on" is Jan 5, 2007 the I would like to calculate the date difference between this date and the end of the quarter (March 31 2007) I would like Acess to calculate this difference automatically without me entering the end of the quarter date.

I have a MS Access query that calculates a member’s attendance at team events over the past 12-months (i.e., Now()-365). This is one of several queries used; others calculate the total number of events that occur within the past 12-months. These are used to calculate percentages, etc. They are working fine.
All members have what is termed an ‘Attendance Calculation Date’, the date upon which they joined. This may or may not be >Now()-365.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
