Using an array to save details on a form.

1 New Member
I'm using an Access database with VB. I designed a form built on a table to enter information into the table upon saving. I need to save the information entered in the text boxes using an array NOT the inbuilt code. How do i do that?

Can someone help me with the code for this?
If an array is not the best approch, what could be?

Hi, if you would be kind enough to post the code from your form module then we might be in a position to assist. Thanks

I'm working on a page for an e-commerce site that has a form than lists items in an order placed by a customer. The form serves two purposes: to edit and save the details of the items (i.e. number of items, price, etc.) and to split the order (i.e. select certain items to remove from the order and use to create a new separate order). Each item has a checkbox next to it, and the name for the checkbox is "name" so an array of the checked...

My problem is that I was able to get VB to read a simple XML file(people.XML), but I'm having problems figuring out how to get VBto read a more complex XML file (people2.xml) and then useadditional text boxes on the same form to add more familymembers. Each family can have from 1 to 5 members. I've pasted the working code below...

Hello, I am creating a form for users to enter information about a lab and the members of the lab. I have one form (FormView) that they use to enter information about that lab. The keyvalue is "LabLocation_ID". With an existing lab, they then need to add the members for that lab. So, what I am trying to do is the following. With the FormView of the Lab open, the user will click a button to open a FormView (InsertMode) and add a new...

Note: You may skip to the end of the article if all you want is the perl code. Introduction Uploading files from a local computer to a remote web server has many useful purposes, the most obvious of which is the sharing of files. For example, you upload images to a server to share them with other people over the Internet. Perl comes ready equipped for uploading files via the CGI.pm module, which has long been a core module and allows users...

Windows XP SP3 My application is set to open a SaveFile dialog when an exit is requested. When I click the app's close button, the save dialog opens, but when I click to change the folder, the exception occurs pointing to FileSaveDialog1.ShowDialog(). The exception also indicates some problem with system.drawing.dll. The exception text is: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
