I am working on creating an editable grid (for use in adding,
deleting, and editing rows back to an Oracle database). I have a JSP
that posts back to a servlet, which in turns posts to a WebLogic SFSB
and, from there, to the database.
On the front end, all cells appear as text fields. However, for
certain cells, when the user clicks on the cell, the text field turns

I have a web page that displays contact people in a drop down.
the users selects a person then clicks the go button.
The datagrid should pop with all the information on the select contact
person, correct?
Well, now my issue. I have 5 contact names in the drop down, (pop from DB)
when I select one nothing happens except for one name. I only get

In an earlier thread, I was asking for help on "Invalid attempt to
FieldCount when reader is closed" error when I was using a dataset rather
than a datareader to bind to a datagrid.
After playing around with it, I found out that the error was caused by
template columns. Once I remove template columns, everything worked fine.

Hi There!
I have a Server-side Drop-down box in ASP.NET (VB) page. What do I do to
widen the Drop down box's Pull-Down list's width?
I'm not talking about the Drop-down box's width but the box that appear when
user clicks the drop-down arrow button. Because items in the Drop down list
are a little long, user can't see the full thing when they pull down the
items from the drop down list.

I need help in calculating a score from a row of drop-down values.
I need to use the onChange to tally the score as the user moves across
9 categories (with drop-down selection of 1-9 or N/A) multiplied by a
weighted score. The final column for each employee would be the
calculated score. I know how to accomplish this with vbscript but I
need it to process on the screen so the user can see the calculated

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
