VB6 to CR9 printpreview : data comes very slow

Hello,

I'm using VB6 with CR9. My CR is filled up with data I build up from VB6 in
an access-2000-table. I made a form with a CR9-viewer on it. When I run my
vb-application, The form is shown with, at first, no data but after a few
clicks on the refresh-button, the data appears. Seems to be somewhere a
delay ! Anybody an idea how comes ?

Thanks

I have a question regarding the way that we can load page components seperately, so that a user sees various parts of a site load as the data comes back, but the whole site in general is already loaded up, so it looks like stuff isnt being held up and it looks more realtime. this happens on something like project server, as the page loads up, it doesnt hang waiting for stuff from the database, it just fills parts in as they come back. i...

Hi, I am having a problem with my form being too slow to load up. I have a 4-5 of comboboxes on the form that load a lot (~30,000 records) into them. So this is causing a lot delay (5-6 seconds) for the form to load. Most of the time the form will be used for viewing data only. But sometimes the data can be edited. I am trying to reduce the startup time of the form when the clicks to load it. I was wondering if i could load the data in...

Hi, I need to write large quantities of data to a file in C. The data comes from statistics that are continuously gathered from a simulator, and in order to not slow the whole thing down I would obviously want the writes to go as fast and efficient as possible. Since I/O operations are rather slow, I was thinking that using a large buffer would be better than writing each data point every time. Each data point calls my function, at which...

Hi, i use the code from this code sample on MSDN: for printing a 5 and sometimes 70 page text-only data: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms404294.aspx The point is, that this is terribly slow and the preview is unbelievable slow, especially when you have a 70 page data you want to print. I use a PDF generator to print the data, at first for testing. Not the printig is slow, but the

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
