Hi,
I would like to create a menu where the menu options were taken from
an XML file. The reason is that I would be able to update the xml file
(by simply adding new child nodes) after I uploaded new web pages.
Each page would run the same PHP script to create the menu. As the xml
file would supply every page, this would mean less time taken up when
adding new pages. Below is an example of the xml file content:

I have a requirement to record in a database when a file is finished
downloading to the end-user. Currently when a user clicks a download icon
for a file it directs to an ASP page that records the "hit" into a database,
then I use a response.redirect "filename.exe" to point the user to the
download. What I'm missing is knowing when the download is complete so I
can update the database to show the file successfully completed its
download....

Hello.
I am using databindings to bind my dataset to comboboxes, textboxes and
labels. Some of my UI depends on knowing when the user changes the values,
but I have some problems knowing when my dataset value is set in the
controls.
- SelectedIndexChanged event fires during the bind process, so I can't just
use that
- The binding don't seem to "kick in" until the tab page where the control

bunch of records from a File into a Sql Server Database. But I want to be
able to knwo the 'result' of my ctions.
for exemple:
- after an INSERT: knowing if this happened well or not

I'm trying to load and parse an xml file with XmlReader and have it
completely IGNORE the DTD in the xml file. If I set "ValidationType =
ValidationType.None" it STILL downloads the DTD even though it doesn't
validate against it. I get an XmlException when I set "ProhibitDtd =
true" because then no DTD is allowed in the doc. If I manually remove
the DTD reference from the file then it works fine and does not download
the DTD...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
