When I have a couple of for loops sequentially, and they use the same counter name, i.e. for(int i=0; i<x; i++), Visual C++ complains of variable redeclaration. I thought that the i stayed within the scope of the for loop? The same code on gcc doesn't give this error (not on the default settings at least). Is VC being fussy, and can I turn...

I am writing a program in VB.NET and as I was debugging a problem I noticed my For loop doesn't want to loop! I originally had a upper bound which was an expression and it wasn't working. WHen I noticed this I changed the upper bound for a simple digit. As I step through my code, I see that it simply goes through the loop once and continues on...

I simply want to loop through a registry key, and have all subkeys and values outputed to the console window. It needs to be recursive, so it keeps going into each key one at a time, until it finishes. My code is not close. Anybody have code that has done this? Dim GroupID As Long = 39 'Dim RegKey As RegistryKey =...
