Hi All,
I'm currently trying to show a datagrid with a parent and child table
realtionship. I've got the expansion icon (+) in the row headers and when I
click on it I see the link to the child table. However if I click on the
child table link I get the child data but there is no "Show/Hide parent
rows" icon and there is no back button to take me back to the original
parent grid where I clicked on the link to open the child grid. Am I not
setting some property in the datagrid?
Also, if I use table styles (the parent and child tables both have the exact
same columns), using 2 separate tablestyles for each grid, I get an error
when trying to open the child table. Not sure why that's happening but it
works when no tablestyles are applied.
Also, Also. I found this on Microsoft.com but again I can't seem to get
either of these two buttons to show up on my grid.
"The System.Windows.Forms.DataGrid displays Web-like links to child tables.
You can click on a link to navigate to the child table. When a child table
is displayed, a back button appears in the caption that can be clicked to
navigate back to the parent table. The data from the parent rows is
displayed below the caption and above the column headers. You can hide the
parent row information by clicking the button to the right of the back
button."
Thanks in advance,
