Hello, I would like to ask 2 questions:
1) how a RS232 can be programmed in VB.Net?
2) if a modem is attached, is there a component in VB.Net to work with it?
If there're links to read, I'd be glad if you redirect me to them.
Thaks a lot!

Hi Sean,

In this resource kit is an example for using the RS232 port.
And a lot more

VB.net Resource kit
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/vbrkit/default.aspx

And if you have problems installing the resource kit
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/vbr...q/#installvdir

Another resource for learning is the Quick Starts
http://samples.gotdotnet.com/quickstart/

I hope this helps a little bit?
