I have a site where I want to use the Web form validators in two separate
forms on a single page. One form allows existing users to log in while the
second one allows new users to register. The problem is that if I use the
Web Form validation tags, it treats them all as one form (ie...if someone is
trying to use the login form, they get an error saying that they have to
enter values in the registration form and vice-versa).
Any ideas on...

I have this idea, I need to know if it is possible and how.
Let's say you have a content managed site with all its structure and content - everything in a relational database
And a "blank" page that loads content from the database. This one single page would have to know what content is requested. Obviously this could be done by pageIDs in querystring and whatnot but this is not what I'd like
Here's what I need
The "blank" page lies...

Is is possible to make just a single page within an ASP.NET application use
SSL?
I've written an e-commerce application and want to make just the checkout
page use SSL for secure transmission.
If it's not possible to do this, and I have to put the checkout page in it's
own application, what's the best way to pass data between the two
applications? If at all possible, I'd like to avoid using querystrings.

I have a web app that consists of a single page. It works a lot like
starter kit examples of menu/content apps, and it has a sitemap associated
with it. However, my app doesn't go from page to page to show content;
selecting a menu item from the associated TreeView loads a usercontrol
associated with my content and displays it in a MultiView in the content
area. The SiteMap stuff itself works because it's in Select mode, and my
node...

I'm printing raw data using RawPrinterHelper class provided in
<URL:http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;EN-US;322090>
It works fine on windows 2000 and windows XP but on windows 98 I get error
120 (marshal.getlastwin32error) when openprinter function is called.
Does somebody know where can I find error codes table ?
Thank you.

Hi
I'm looking for some advice, so if anyone wants to contribute I would
be grateful.
I'm trying to create a web application. By application I mean
something that is like a Windows application, not just a set of web
pages (imagine Microsoft Word as opposed to Amazon). Much of the
'screen' contains static info, along the top is an Office style ribbon
bar with tabs and buttons. Along the left is a treeview with a fixed

I'm poking at a small "single page application" (SPA), ala TiddlyWiki,
to act as kind of a local, single-user version of Twitter (no real
application, except to familiarize myself with JavaScript). Right now
I'm using a hidden field to hold JSON, which is currently my flat-file
database of posts.
Is there a better way to store JSON data in a SPA other than hidden
fields? I'm Googling now to allay or confirm my concerns, but I'm...

Hi,
I know this is a very simple question....But I tried every possible way I know to answer this question and failed everytime.
This is the scenario:
I am using Visual Studio 2008 and Sql 2005.
page 1 passes the search criteria for page 2 and page 2 contains a ReportViewer which displays the data from database querying on passed search criteria from page 1.
When I do this by not keeping them on same page like the above example they work...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
