I already figured out (the hard way) I need to convert all my date
parameters into USA format before executing my stored procedures where
dates are used as parameters.
(Format(StartDate, "m/d/yyyy hh:nn:ss AM/PM")
At least I thought I did!
But then I discover that if I use the following construction, the dates
do not need to be formatted to USA first:

I have a class that among others exposes a string property "Date". The
date in this property is stored in the form yyyymmdd. Now I do the
following
1) Generate a DataGridViewTextBoxColumn column for that property
2) Add the column to the datagridview
3) Populate a BindingSource by adding all instances of the above
mentioned class.
4) Assign the BindingSource to the datagridview's DataSource property

I have a high number of computers that at logon write some information
to a sql 2005 database. Information such as computer name, user name,
logon date and logon time are entered.
Because computers use different regional options, I notice that queries
to this database return inconsistent results due to different date
formatting. For example I see computers entering 1/3/2006 and 1/3/6 or
1/3/06.
How can I modify my query so that it...

I have created a database that has over 70 queries and over 40k
records. I used the OutputTo action to export the queries to Excel. I
would like the functionality of adding the date (Month-YY) to each of
the Excel file names as they are exported. It seems that the OutputTo
action only allows for predetermined names or a prompt for each file. I
do not want to type the file names 70+ times and renaming each of the
..xls files afterwards is a...

I have a MSAccess database that is linked to a SQL server. I cannot
change the SQL server datatype as I am not the only one that uses the
database. I'm trying to convert the text field to a valid date or
number format so that the field will report correctly. Currently the
text field is appears as follows:
Test Date: YYYYMMDD (i.e. 20061206)
I have used a CDate format, but am getting a type mismatch error when I
attempt to run the...

I have been reading the posts regarding the CompactDatabase method and
would like to say Thanks to everyone, especially Mr.Steele. I have
taken his advice and make a backup from the Backend before compacting
and use his code
Format$(Date(), "yyyymmdd") & ".bak"
I would like to add the Time, as well as the date and don't know how -
I have tried
Format$(Date(),"yyyy-mm-dd hh:nn" & .bak
but the colon seems to screw it up.
Any help for a...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
