VBA script to pull data from HTML file into an '07 Ms Access database

2 New Member
I have very little knowledge or experience with VBA. I have an HTML file that is not in columns. It is a report that lists every time a vehicle comes in for repairs.

VIN 5578

Date 7-8-99

Part No. Duration. Code
8657 77 09H
1937 2 18S
9192 123 87J

The report repeats for each occurrence. Could someone help me with the script? I am assuming the script would have to look for the "header" and then a certain number if spaces over to find the data. The number of rows under part number will vary with each occurrence since the number of parts will vary. Some may not need any at all. I know a loop will have to be generated until it gets to the end of the report (file). It would be pulling the data into an '07 Ms Access database.

I could really use some help with the script and getting it to import into a table. The field names can be the same as the "header" names in the report. Table would be RepairLog

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Hello. I used to have a frames-based main page where the left side was the nav bar and the right side was split into top and bottom. The top portion was the welcome page and the bottom portion displayed a blog html file. Now I have changed to CSS but I can't figure out how to replicate that bottom portion with the blog html in it. Any suggestions? Thanks David

The deny setting applies only to the Windows Security Web application and Web Anonymous setting, it is Ok for all other User and Admin settings. Now how do I...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
