This is far too broad of a question to be answered in a thread. I recommend you read the FAQ about How to ask a good question so the volunteers will be able to help you.

Not sure that this is possible since the Office tools that you would need to use to create the documents require COM objects to work.

Even if you didn't use "Office" tools to create the files, you would still be calling unmanaged code...

Sorry, don't think there's a way around this at this time

How is it possible to access the object structure in PowerPoint. I mean by this accessing the objects that are created on the given slide. I would like to identify the selected object, maybe check its category (arrow, text,

1) Is it possible to create a powerpoint file with asp.net? I've Googled it and can't seem to find a definitive guide. 2) If it is possible to create a powerpoint file with asp.net, is it possible to pull exisiting slides together in a certain order rather than creating the slides from scratch? Thanks, -Sean

Hey folks, my mind is turning into mush... I created a report tracking program in access that works beyond my greatest expectations. So of course, I am constantly adding features to make life easier for my users (and harder for myself). Every week my secretary exports different sets of data into Excel (via cmd buttons on form) then copies and pastes the data into powerpoint slides for our weekly staff meeting. I want to simplify this...

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to use VB.NET to display a powerpoint presentation, much the same way as the presenter that comes with PowerPoint (when used on multiple monitors). Basically, I want to show the presentation in one form/window, and in the other, have controls for moving through the presentation, list of slides, etc. I don't really want code as such, more like a tutorial on how to do something like this.

Hi, I'm trying to use VBA to extract underlying data from charts in powerpoint to excel, i.e from the underlying powerpoint datasheet that feeds the chart. I've found the macro below on the net. It copies the data in each chart/datasheet and slide in powerpoint but I'm struggling with the bit to get the data into excel. Below it I've tried incoporating some code to paste into excel but it does not seem to work. Hope someone can...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
