I have a Visual Basic menu script that I am trying to get to clear the
dos screen it is running in. Basically, you select an option from the
menu, and after the processing is complete, a "press enter to
continue" comes up. When enter is pressed I'd like the DOS screen the
script is running in to clear (and the menu to be displayed again).
Is there any way to do this? I've tried many different things, but I
seem to have trouble actually...

I have COM dll code written in VC 6.0. When i tried
compiling this code in VC 7, The MIDL cmpiler gets called
twice. i.e. it initially compiles fully & immediately a
line - 64 bit processing' comes, followed by the 64 bit
compilation of the IDl file. The comlpilation goes thro'
the full stage and then the StdAfx.cpp is compiled.
I have another similar VC 6 COM dll code that gets
compiled without invoking the 64 bit processing of the...

Hello,
I am trying to update an MS access database from ASP.NET. I am using IIS on
Windows XP Pro. I can issue SELECT statements from ASP.NET using ADO.NET but
I cannot seem to be able to carry out INSERT statements. Here is the error
which I am getting:
Exception Details: System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException:

Will in MS VS .NET, Visual Basic, I click on Help -> Check for Updates, I
get a dialog that ask me to wait while it checks for updates. Then I get an
error dialog that states
"Visual Studio .NET setup encountered errors while attemptin to download
required files. Check your Web brower configuration settings and your
connection hardware, and then try again."
Where can I get the hot fix to for this problem: Microsoft Visual Studio

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
