Missing newsgroup messages

For instance, today 9/30/2008, I can see only 3 messages in this newsgroup.
Can anyone suggest a setting that might be stopping the rest of the messages
from appearing? This started when I built a new PC using Vista and Windows
Mail. Also, I may post a message and never see it displayed. Recently I
was able to see a reply to my own non-visible message.

Thanks
Dean S

Dean,

Exact, however maybe you can contact Microsoft direct.

This is an issue from Vista, which has a very low priority by the responable
management from Vista.

Hey all, I just realized you can very easily implement a sequence grouping function using Python 2.3's fancy slicing support: def group(values, size): return map(None, * for i in range(size)]) >>> group(range(20), 4)

Hello everyone, I am interested in starting an all volunteer website which will be directed at recovering missing children. I am aware that there are few other sites out there with the same mission. However, My perspective I believe is a little different and more pro-active. And, the way I view... worst case scenario, we recover a few additional missing children.... Anyhow, this perspective would be a little more involved and will...

Sometime ago on the comp.lang.c, I saw a teacher's post asking why C compilers produce so many error messages as soon as a closing bracket is missing. The response was simply because the compiler can't tell where a bracket is missing.... a few weeks have past, I requested a feature for the delphi ide/editor "automatic identation of code in begin/end statements etc" and today when I woke up I suddenly released a very simple solution for this...

I have sent posting to this newsgroup, and notice that if it's answered on developerdex, the posting is removed from this newsgroup forcing me to goto develoersdex. Why is this?

Hallo, One of the netiquettes is not to answer newsgroup questions, which are placed in future. This behaviour is well known because in this case the message stays in most newsreaders in top op the reader. The netiquette says not to answer those questions.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
