I used to use the Web Deployment Project with my VS2005 projects.
Now I've fully upgraded to VS2008. Do I have to download a new version of
the Web Deployment Project? If so where can I find it?
If not, how do I have to change my deployment strategy?
Thanks!

web deployment projects are delayed.)
I want to be able to modify the web.config file on the website.
Thanks!

I am happily developing software with C# using Visual Studio 2005. Should I
upgrade to Visual Studio 2008? If I do, will I be able to work on the same
project alternately with the two different Visual Studio versions?

We have a project working well today and it's developed
on VS2005. Since we're planing to switch to VS2008 in a

VS2008 Express (Web Developer).
After i've moved over all the files, i run into problems
compiling and running it. Both versions of VS are run on

I received a copy of VS2008 Standard Edition at a recent MS launch event. I
need to test some code for MS Office (Excel) and also update a program I
wrote in VS2003 for a mobile device (still to run on the same, ancient
mobile device).
I did a search for VS2008 upgrades, but the search returned an overwhelming
number of upgrades from...

If I understand correctly, the framework version and Visual Studio version
are not intertwined?
Assuming so, how do I (first) find out what framweork my VS2005 ASP.NET
application is targeting (think its 2.0 currently)?
Then, how do I "make it" use the 3.5 Framework?
I know if I opened the project using VS2008, it would prompt me to...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
