I am having an existing VB 6 standard .EXE application. Now I am developing a
wrapper application in .Net and I want to launch the VB 6 exe app embedded
with
in the .Net App window. That is, the standard EXE application should be
activated in-place within the .Net window and should be confined within the
..Net app window.
Any suggestions on how I go about doing this stuff?

When I run the code below after creating an Empty .Net type project and
adding an Empty C++ file it always opens a command window before displaying
the form. If I write a similar VB application by starting an Empty Project
and adding a Code File into which I type my code, it runs without starting a
command window.
Is there a project property that specifies that the command window is not

Hi
I'm currently into converting a perl linux app into a .Net windows service.
The application monitors our syslog log files to capture i.p adress changes
on some of our routers having dynamic i.p. In the syslog logfile i capture
the new IP adress of the router. I then need to telnet to that i.p adress
and fetch the hostname. A list of these routers will be presented on a
webpage.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
