Using VB.NET I want to read in an XML file that has an array of objects and
then step through the resulting array in code. I build a class to define the
structure and I am running code to read in the data but I can't figure out
where the data is in the resulting array. Most of the relevant code is
below. When I run the code to desrialize I get no errors but if I try to
look at some of the data via the command window I get errors such as...

I have an object called Place which contains only string properties and has
the <Serializable()> flag before the class name declaration. I also have a
collection object called Places, which is implemented using Inherits
System.Collections.Specialized.NameObjectCollectionBase and also has the
<Serializable()> flag before the class name declaration.
In the calling code, I'm successfully serializing the object to an XML file

Hello
I have created a windows service to monitor a database, it starts some
checks when a timer elapses. The checks send emails depending on their
findings. My issue is that when I created a windows application it
worked fine, however I need to use a service as I don't want to rely
on a user being logged in. The errors I get are:
Index #:System.Web.HttpException: Could not access 'CDO.Message'
object. --->...

I have a very simple webservice written in Java/Axis. It takes in a
complexType with 2 string elements, userid and password. The response is a
complexType containing two complexTypes each having 2 strings
<wsdl:portType name=SecurityLoginService">
<wsdl:operation name="login">
<wsdl:input message="tns:loginRequest" name="loginRequest"/>
<wsdl:output message="tns:loginResponse" name="loginResponse"/>
</wsdl:operation>

Hi...
I'm trying to write a web service client and am running into a problem with
getting a response back from the server. I know that a full xml message is
being returned (thanks to a tcp/ip sniffer) but in VS.NET all I get is a null
reference.
The server is a java program running on websphere. The provider of the web
service has gotten a websphere client and an apache axis client to work
correctly, so I don't think it's a problem...

Hello,
I have a web service that is running in a java server using axis that I
want to use from .net. In VS.net 2003 I setup a project with a web
reference. Using generated code I am able to invoke the web service.
The Soapscape tells me that an xml reponse is coming back and its
pasted below, along with the wsdl file. However, the object on the
..net side is not getting populated. Any ideas as to why that may be? I
am using...

have a look for yourself, <REMOVED> (feel free to send emails)
dont enter in the visual code (or enter it incorrectly) (or correctly) and see how all hell breaks loose (the loops of death!) where it should just pop-up with (one) an error message.
Code (mail.php)
<?php
$subject = $_POST;
$message = $_POST;
include 'config.inc.php';

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
