There's all kinds of ways to validate an email address to make sure
it's well formed and whatnot, but what about checking to see if it's a
valid e-mail account?
Like how you can use checkdnsrr() to check to see if a URL is valid.
I know finger used to be used at one time, no? But server block finger
requests, and I'm not sure many e-mail accounts out there are even
fingerable type accounts anyway.

I have a domain cluster with AD running, and I want to lookup a users email
address (exchange 2000 server is integrated with the AD system) so i can
email the user based on their user name. does anyone know how to look up the
email address? i would just use the user name as the alias but not all our
user names match their internal email addresses.. thanks

I have created a Login web page . It gets the user identity using the
window nt authetication.
The page is working fine. I have removed the allow anonymous access
check box for the virtual directory and then given the check for the
integrated window authetication.
After deploying the project in the testing server - windows 2003 server
(server called as svr10) it is working fine.

I have an ASP.NET 2.0 site that stores a cookie on the browser. Instead of
the domain name (www.somename.com) it comes accross as the IP address of the
server. This works in Firefox, but fails with IE 6 because of security. I
went through and forced the Domain like this:

I have a webserver which is behaving strangely. The server is a fresh
copy of Windows 2003 running IIS with default options + Active Server
Pages installed. The server is connected to a Linksys router, and has
a static IP address of 192.168.1.10.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
