DevExpress have their own set of user driven forums over at http://community.devexpress.com/forums/default.aspx

You should be able to find some people over there with detailed knowledge
of the controls you speak of.

In C++ what kind of unexpected conditions should be handled as exceptions? Besides dividing by 0, bad memory allocation, what're the most popular exceptions? When should not use exception, instead, use regular function returns? Thanks!

Hello All, I'm now getting into the reporting phase of my application development. I need to print not only continuous page reports from a datasource (database, datagridview, listboxes, etc), but also some single page reports which the content is derived from calculated variables, constants, etc. I'm using VB.net Pro so CR seems like the answer, at least for the reports from the datasources. How about for the reports using internal...

I am having problems printing some reports from my application that are generated from temporary tables. The application has an Access FE and a SQL Server BE. The current method uses a temporary workspace. This workspace uses ODBCDirect which bypasses the JET engine completely. However, these objects are temporary and are destroyed at the end of the function. In order to get the reports working I launch the reports before the object is...

It works by calling SaveReportAsPDF and specifying the access report name, and the root directory to which the filename should be saved. The routine adjusts registry values to achieve its aim. Now, it works, but not quite as I would like it. I originally thought that I would be able to adjust a registry key (such as...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
