Web Browser control on a form - changing background color?

I have a web browser control (VB2005) in a panel on a form. I use it only to
open Reports from Reporting Services (sql Server 2000) or PDFs. So I am not
using the web browser control for browsing any sites. The background color
of the web browser control is white. I would like it to be the same color as
the form it resides in. Is there a way to change the background color of the
web browser without having to navigate to a webpage with the desired color?
How to change the background color?

Thanks,
Rich

I am using a web browser control to display some PPT slides saved as HTML. My client has recently asked that the background of the browser be changed to sonething other than white so that the slides "standout". I've tried setting the browser's BackColor setting, but that had no effect at run time. Any suggestions on how to control the default back color of content displayed in a web browser control?

I have windows form with the few TextBox controls. Under certain conditions I disable or enable this controls by setting Enable property to true or false: For example: this.m_txtIP.Enabled = false ; The controller become disabled, and I can't enter any data. The problem is that the background color of the TextBox doesn't change whether it is enabled or disabled. It always looks like enabled.

I have created a simple windows custom cotrol that inherits a button. I have it added to the toolbox and I am able to add it to my form successfully. The problem comes when I decide to change a property on my custom control (like the background color). The change is not reflected across my project. If I select and delete the button from my form, then add it again the changes will be shown. But I want to be able to have the change...

I have a tab control, and I want to highlight certain fields, determined by their values, when a record is selected. I originally used 1 form and used the On Current of the form to set the values. The On Current does not seem to work with the tab control and I can't figure out how to do this.

BACKGROUND: I have some PPT slides that have been converted to HTM (ensuring that the show slide animations while browsing checkbox is checked). The original HTM slides have custom animations to allow movie (wmv) playback on mouse click. (All animations have been verified to work when viewing slides in ppt.) Further, I have ensured that the converted HTM file(s) contain only relative file paths. SITUATION #1 When I open the converted...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
