About form doesnt show on top

Hi all, I just added an About form to my VB.NET EXPRESS application
and whilst it does show, it doesnt appear in front of my main form,
rather behind it.

So far I have tried the following with no success:

Private Declare Function SetForegroundWi ndow Lib "user32.dll " (ByVal
hWnd As IntPtr) As Boolean
then - SetForegroundWi ndow(Me.Handle)

Me.SetTopLevel( True)
Me.BringToFront ()
Me.Refresh()
Me.Refresh()

ANY suggestions would be very welcome.

Cheers

Hello, im new to c# and i got an app with a notifyicon. Now i want to start the app only with the notifyIcon, so that the Main-Form doesnt show up. The form itself is used at the entrance point of the app: Application.Run(new MainFrame()); Now i tried to use this to hide the Form and show up the trayBarIcon with this in the constructor of the form.

Hi all Im not sure of the best way to be displaying my forms and just want a bit of clarification. Being only recently moved to vb.net im still used to the old vb6 form.show method, now under vb.net that doesnt seem to do alot most of the time so far as i can tell. So im using form.showdialog all the time. But it seems as though once i call this code, all control transfers to the open form and only when closed the control returns to the...

Hello, bit of strange one this, I have a VB .net application that has Sub Main() as its startup procedure, this then creates and shows a form. Up till now when I pressed F5 the form would duly appear. Whats happening now is the project appears to start but the form doesnt show. The process appears in Task manager but in VB .net the the blue bar at the top still still says and the usual stop button isnt there and the IDE just appears to...

Hello there I was wondering if anyone could help me, I am trying to pass a typed dataset to a dialoged child form by reference. I have binding sources sitting on the child form. So to refresh them I just set their datasource. I am guessing this is probably what is causing the problem. Is there a better way to do this? Anyway this all works happily and things show up when the record already exists but I have 2 problems ; 1) When I add...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
