Hi, i have 2 forms, first form has a button that brings user to toggle
second form, and second form contains a integrated web-browser
component which has a auto-start flash (the flash contains audio)
file.
The problem is: When i run the program, the next form which contains
sound-containing flash file inside its browser, launches file
immediately without waiting for my button click to prompt.
How to avoid this and pause the second form UNTIL i press button in
first form?
Thanks. 1 1541
Normally should this should go well, therefore there is probably someting in
your code.
Because that it is probably a little bit to large, you can maybe make a
sample and try that, if the behaviour is than the same you can show it to
us.

I am trying to use the "Ping" command and capture the

System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("ping.exe","-a

This works fine. However, when I attempt to redirect the
output to a file using:

A couple of days ago there was a thread "Returning the machine epsilon".
The responses in that thread suggested using Double.Epsilon or
Single.Epsilon. Since both these seem to return zero I thought I would try
to compute these epsilons myself. Using the following program fragment:
===================================
private void button4_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) {
float a;
float f= 1.0f;

I was wondering how the Process.Start() command can be used in a VB.NET
Web Application. I have used this command in a Windows Application
before successfully. I want the client side to envoke the .exe
application by clicking a button and want the .exe to run on the
server. I have read in groups that it is not possible and also have
heard that it is possible in Web Apps. Here is what I have tried so
far in the web app...

I have the following line of code in my start/login page:
document.getElementById("txtLogin").focus();
When I run the website app through F5 (Debug, Start Debugging) it works
fine (ie, focus on txtLogin). When I run with CTRL+F5 (Debug, Start
without debugging) the focus defaults to the URL box.
Can anybody unveil the mystery ?

Sometimes when I After I click "Start Debugging"
I get a "File not Found" Exception.
Could not load file or assembly 'FormTesting, Version=1.0.2646.36738,

cannot find the file specified.
Usually this happen right after (or maybe while) the
Output window is showing the projects the IDE is checking.

Hello,
what is the use-case of parameter "start" in string's "endswith"
method? Consider the following minimal example:
a = "testing"
suffix="ing"
a.endswith(suffix, 2)
Significance of "end" is obvious. But not so for "start".

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
