I have MDI application where child forms are all instances of one form.
Since I cannot give then individual names, only solution that I could think
of are handles. So, when child is minimized, it just becomes hidden, but
it's internal name is placed into listbox, so that user can click on it to

Hi,
I have an MDI application which has aboout 10 child windows. The way
the app needs to work is that only one window should be visible at a
time and it should be maximized within the parent window. I have set
all my child windows to be WindowState.Maximized but after showing 2
or 3 windows, the windows all drop back to Normal state.
I have tried various things to overcome this inclusing overriding
OnResize etc but none seem to give...

If FormMain = MDI parent, FormSub = Child parent,
I execute FormSub from the menu like this way.
FormSub^ sub = gcnew FormSub;
sub->MdiParent = this;
sub->Show();
This can generate child form sub in FormMain.
In th FormMain, there is status bar label named statusBar;

In my Mdi Application, I load a default child form at startup using
WindowState = Maximized.
If I open another child form, it is also Maximized. When the child form
maximizes, it looks like all of the active child forms (all 2 of them) go
through a series of changes from WindowState Normal back to Maximized. It

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
