Greetings all,
I'm trying to build a div based layout for a mambo template (work in
progress), and I'm having a strange problem, 2 acctually, with scroll
bars in IE. I've tried everything I can think of, but just can't get it
to display quite right. It's worth noting that the page displays
exactly as intended in Firefox.
First Problem:

How do you force a panel to scroll in code.
I have a large picture box inside my panel.
I would like the panel to default to the centre of the screen, rather than
the scrollbars showing the top left corner
Thanks

I have two controls, a panel holding check boxes and a treeview beside the
panel.
I use buttons to scroll both of thes up and down at the same time but I'd
like to make scroll bars on the controls invisible so I can use only the
buttons for scrolling.
Any help will be appreciated.

I’m using the Panel control that contains a PictureBox control (for
implementing the http://www.codeproject.com/cs/miscctrl/PictureBox.asp).
The Panel is set to AutoScroll = true.
I wish to scroll the appearing vertical and horizontal scrolls bars of the
Panel to the middle of their scrolling range so the contained PictureBox will
be centered inside the Panel.
But I could not find a way to get the scrolls bars for doing that.

I have a Flow Layout Panel in my C# application with Autoscroll set to
true. When I scroll on it, the vertical scrolling is not live. I
directly see the page at the final position of the scrollbar when I
release the mouse button.
Is there a way to scroll the contents in real time?
Thanks,
Avanti

I was using quirks mode (without a doctype) and set the overflow CSS
property to :auto for the body tag like so:
<body style="overflow:auto">
And it worked; it got rid of IE's default scroll bars. However, when I
tried to add any doctype at all (HTML strict, HTML loose, XHTML
transitional, XHTML strict, etc.), it stopped working. Do I have any
control over IE's scroll bars when using doctypes?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
