I would like to allow my users to upload a large wav file and have it
converted to one of the following: a smaller wav file, an MP3, RA or
WMA.
My users have access to only large files, and it is not an option to
ask them to do the converting on their own.
I've done a little research, but can't seem to find anything on this.
Can PHP do this. Should I have PHP call an outside program? which one?
how? My server's OS is XP.

I'm sort of wishing to convert TeX tokens into characters.
We can assume the standard (i.e. plain) category codes.
And that the characters are to be written to a file.
This proceess to take place outside of TeX.
Say in a Python program.
Think of a pretty-printer.
* Read the TeX in as tokens.

Does anyone have C code laying around to do this?
I have to read in some binary data files that contains some 4-byte
IBM/370 floating point values. I would like a function to convert
4-byte IBM/370 float values into IEEE 754 'float' values that I can
use directly with any modern C environment (that uses IEEE 754).
I can handle endian conversion myself (the files are stored as big
endian, and I'll process them on a little endian...

Say you have a flat list:
How do you efficiently get
, , ]
I was thinking of something along the lines of:
for (key,number) in list:
print key, number

are of the following structure:
Dim wsName As DAO.Workspace
Dim dbName As DAO.Database
Dim rsName As DAO.Recordset

Set dbName = wsName.OpenDatabase(CurrentProject.FullName)
Set rsName = dbName.OpenRecordset("SQL Statement")

Anyone know how to avoid this?

Hi guys,
I need to convert a big endian integer to little endian integer.
(the integer is 4 bytes in size on my implementation). I came up with
the following code. I need your comments on this. Please suggest any
improvements that can be done.
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void)

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
