A Custom Calendar and Outlook

Hi Folks,

I have not too long ago built a customised calendar for my company's
intranet. This was just a little calendar that users could add private
events and reminders so that they were kept away from other users who
could look at their calendars across the network.

However I am now looking to improve on the calendar so that it
actually updates the users outlook calendar, when they add a new event
into the Intranet calendar.

Does anyone know of how to perform such a task?

Thanks

Simon

I think you can use the office/outlook PIA's to do this. A quick
search on the Microsoft download site will probably turn up the
download.

Thank you,

Can someone recommend a way to display a one-month calendar view where the month can be selected and up to six events can be shown in any day of the calendar. The events and dates would be stored in an events table and any event may be for one day or multiple days. Thanks! Steve

Greetings all! I've been searching and searching for about two hours looking for advise, help, tips for viewing an Outlook calendar (any view, month, week, day) from within Access. I've noticed that linking the Outlook folder is easy, but the link doesn't include the appointment data, i.e. start time, end time, etc. Am I barking up a dead tree? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I have a dilemna. Currently I have created a custom calendar webcontrol that a user can select and will dump the date along with some specialized information set in the tooltip. It actually is working great. However I am having the same second thoughts about the control as everyone else because of all the real estate it takes up so I would like to add a button to alternately hide/display the calendar control. The only problem is that if I...

Hi Anybody, i´m trying to show a calendar (dayview) in my own vb.net programm. This calendar sheet should get all items (of this day) of my local outlook calendar (Outlook 2000). Is something like this possible? Perhaps is it possible to involve the whole outlook calendar in my program? (This would be the best way!) Thanks for all help

My organization currently has interfaces in place to generate MS Outlook emails from our business applications. I am trying to determine if it is possible and how difficult it might be to interface with MS Ecxhange or Outlook from a business application and add items to a user's calendar, task list, or at a minimum to set a follow up flag in an email. We are running Exchange 2003 and a variety of MS Outlook 2000 and 2003. We do have...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
