I have built a pretty basic site and now when I try t debug it I get a error
that says;
{0}: Build (web): "The type initializer for
'System.Web.Compilation.CompilationLock' threw an exceptoin.
I am using the final VS2005Pro, running on WinXP MCE 2005 on a Laptop.
Any Suggestions?

Hi All,
After moving to VS2005, we've noticed that opening an existing (large)
solution and being able to type code takes a lot longer than in VS2003.
Typically, the IDE will open, and all the windows will appear, but then the
hour glass will flick on and off for about 1 minute.
If the "Pending Checkins" window is open, I can see a message that says
"Updating. xxx file(s) to process" with the 'xxx' portion slowly counting
down from 800...

I converted my VS2003 ASP.Net project to VS2005.
In 1 of my aspx page, the first line was:

Codebehind="Color.aspx.vb" Inherits="Auction.Color"%>
It gave me an error when I hit F5 (Start Debugging): "Attribute

i am working on serial port programming using CreateFile function in VC.
This function runs well in Visual Studio 6, while the same instruction fail to execute in VS2005. Can any one tell what will be the correct syntex or the possible cause of error.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
