I have the following requirements:
Build a stand-alone C# application that asks the user to click in a cell
in an Excel spreadsheet, and then displays the address of that cell in
the C# application. It seems simple enough, but the problem I'm
encountering is as follows:
In order for the user to select the cell from Excel, they must first
click once on the Excel window to give it focus and then their second

Hi,
ok, I found a way to connect to a running instance of an (external) Internet
Explorer and access - for example - the html source. That works fine!
But now I have running application with an embedded IE webBrowser Control.
Is there a possibility for my application to access the webBrowser control in
the other application, too?

Does anybody know how to embed an Excel Worksheet into a (vb .net)
form?
I want the worksheet to appear as though it's a control on the form
with all the functionality of a worksheet. I don't necessarily need
all the toolbars because I will write code to manipulate the sheet
from the back end.
I've imported the Excel Object model reference but I'm at a loss of
how to display a worksheet object inside the form.

In the good old days I believe people were using the arcane technology which
came to be known as COM+ to embed other application's document in their own
document.
Like a Word with document a Windows Media Player or Excel or Visio document
inside, double click on it and *bang* you coud start edit it using
Excel/WMP/Visio toolbar.
Apparently even OpenOffice could do that.

I am able to embed Excel into a WebBrowser on my Dev machine but on a client
machine
an instance of Excel starts in it's own window.
Anyone seen this before???

I am able to embed Excel into a WebBrowser on my Dev machine but on a client
machine an instance of Excel starts in it's own window outside of my form.
I have used the WebBrowser with VS 2005 and the one with Office and get the
same result. I have use the MS example from MSDN and get the same result on
non-Dev machine
I've posted this before and someone remarked it maybe due to IE setting?
Does anyone know what the setting are and...

It sounds a piece of cake but It is surprisingly frustrating to do. I
have a winform which receives data from database and present them as
Excel chart and spreadsheet. It is required by the client. I
can use Office Web Control to generate chart. However the chart can
only be export to a gif image, not Excel chart. bummer. I also tried
WebBrowser Control, but it can only open an Excel file from web or hard
drive. I cannot figure out how to...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
