Unfortunately .NET 2.0 still does not support an OLE container control.

I don't think this is supported by this approach. You could try to use
'GetObject' to get a reference to the Excel instance running inside IE, but
I have never tried that.

Hi, I need to use an Excel Sheet in ASP.NET application so that the users can enter (copy, paste ) large number of rows in this Excel Sheet. Also, Whatever the USER ENETRS needs to go to the SQL DATABASE, probably by the click of a button. Is this possible? & what is the BEST APPROACH for doing this? & also if any links are there do tell those to me too coz I have no idea how to go about doing it.

There's a significant problem in automating Excel from VB .NET. Reminds me of a problem I encountered almost 3 years ago that was caused by the Norton Auntie Virus Office plug-in. Can anybody reproduce the behavior described below? For this example, I am using Excel 2002 and VS .NET 2002 and VB 6. MSFT KB article 304661 gives a trivial example of early and late binding to Excel from VB .NET. Note that there is a variable naming...

Does anybody know how to embed an Excel Worksheet into a (vb .net) form? I want the worksheet to appear as though it's a control on the form with all the functionality of a worksheet. I don't necessarily need all the toolbars because I will write code to manipulate the sheet from the back end. I've imported the Excel Object model reference but I'm at a loss of how to display a worksheet object inside the form.

I want to export a report (that contains two separate queries, 1. Current year data, and 2. split-year data) from access into excel, but everytime I run my code and export the data to excel, it looks like garbage. I have maximize and minimize buttons on the left side of the excel spreadsheet that I don't want. I want separate tabs on the bottom of the spreadsheet that show the two queries separately from one another. But I don't know how...

Hello All, I have a windows application that exports data from a datagridview into excel. Now this data can change based on what a user does in the datagridview itself. An example would be out of 1,000 files the user can sort through using DataGridViewAutoFilter to search for a handful of rows, say 50 or 143 or whatever. The user then clicks on the button which exports to the excel worksheet. I'm looking for some help on getting a subtotal...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
