Hello,
We are having a recurring problem of a typed dataset that
we have in a form dissapearing from the VS designer and
all bindings being lost. The dataset is defined in
another component and we reference that component, and
use the dataset designer tool to simply create the
dataset variable on the form. Every so often though,
with no...

Well I had a way to write an array to an excel spreadsheet but on a huge
time critical run it failed iwth the dreaded HRESULT: 0x800A03EC error. It
worked fine when i sampled the data to go in but when it all tried to go in
it bombed.
So I need to write this to a tab delimited file and I sure hope somebody is
awake tonight.
How do I...

I've been using the dataset designer in Visual Studio to create typed
datasets for my application by dragging over tables from the Server Explorer
and dropping them into the designer. The problem is, when I modify these
tables in SQL Server (typically adding fields and what not), there doesnt
seem to be an easy way to update the typed...

Hi all,
I have now correctly set up my dataset and two grids, so that the parent
navigates the child.
THe thing is that the child table is actually a lookup type table. It lists
billing types for the parent table, so that I just store a key in the parent
table, and the show the billing type description from the child
I need to set this up in...

Can someone point me in the right direction? Somewhere I read that you
reference a strongly typed dataset as if it were a class structure. For
example,
<SomeTests>
<TestsGroups>
<Group>
<TestName>TestA</TestNmae>
<Test>Run1</Test>
<Test>Run2</Test>

Hi there,
Can anyone explain the following (very) simple scenario.
1) I make an exact copy of my "DataSet" and delete one record from a given
table (in the copy)
2) I invoke "DataSet.GetChanges()" on the above copy and pass the results to
"DataSet.Merge()" on the original copy
3) If I now inspect the original copy, it shows that the...

This is a question that someone familiar with ASP.NET and ADO.NET DataSets
and DataTables should be able to answer fairly easily. The basic question is
how I can efficiently match data from one dataset to data in a second
dataset, using a common key. I will first describe the problem in words and
then I will show my code, which has most of the...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
