hi,
i'm working on a java editor, college assignment, i wanted to add the
intellisense option in it, but don't know where to start. i was
thinking about displaying a context menu after the user hits the .
(period), but is this the best way? And how do i go about getting the
methods And variables associated with the class?

I like the way call tips displays argument variables for functions when
you type the "(" after the function name. However, if one of the
arguments to the function is something like "SomeMod.attribute", the
intellisense will display all the exposed methods and attributes when
"SomeMod." is typed. This is fine but once I have selected the desired
attribute and continue with entering the next argument, the original
call tip for the function...

Hi,
I would like to create the intellisense feature in an editor I'm
working on, any pointers on how to do this? Basically the keywords
preceeding the . (period) to invoke the intellisense box will be user
defined, I know how to get those, just need to know how to create that
feature of knowing exactly what text is typed in and what to pop up.

I'm having problems with intellisense, autocomplete, etc. suddenly not
working in certain classes of a project I'm working on. All the options are
set, and it all works fine for most classes, but for some it just suddenly
stopped working. After a build it'll work maybe once or twice, then stop.
I've tried repairing my installation of Visual Studio 2003 but that didn't
help. Is Microsoft working on a fix for this, or is there something...

In C#, code commenting with Intellisense is used. In VB.Net, it's not. Fine,
dandy, but not what I am looking for. I just want to write the XML by hand and
use it in my library so it displays the intellisense itself, not through code
