Hi,
I get a DataTable based on this simple query:
SELECT * FROM Customers
Later, I want to know just the table name because I do not want to play with
the string within the SELECT statement. I expect DataTable.TableName to give
me an exact name, i.e. "Customers", but it gives me "Table" regardless of
what query from what table. Can...

Hi,
Something I don't understand about a Typed DataSet: When a value in the
DataSet is DBNull, it throws this error: "Cannot get value because it is
DBNull".
But aren't Typed DataSets invented to make life easier, to be able to get to
tge Tables and Values with less code, in less time? But with this thing you
need to add a Try-Catch...

Hi,
I have two tables (that I know of) in a database that seem to be
corrupted. All SQL statements on the tables hang, "select * from..",
"select count (*) from", "delete from..". I can't even drop the
tables as the "drop table..." statement, too, hangs. But the
tables do exist as they show up in "describe table <tabname> ".
A "create...

Greetings,
I was searching Google for ways to turn off transaction logging for
some queries. I came across this old post from Feb 2003:

When I choose "Enable Selection" from wizard in GridView1, GridView2
contains the correct related data.
I don't like the column called "Select" in my GridView1. How can I

Hi,
Im not very experienced with XSL, this is my first run in with it. I found an XSL file that converts a dataset to an excel readable format.
The problem I have is when the dataset has a null value for a column, it does not add an empty element for the column. Is there any way I can detect this?
Excel.xsl:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
