Help!!
I need to interrogate about 150,000 files across a WAN and pull in ONLY
the files less than 5 days old and larger than 10k bytes. I'm currently
using Directory.GetFiles and it's taking hours!!
Anyone have any great ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Has anyone any idea how asp.net find it's files back after compiling them to
the temporary asp.net directory?
I found on numerous webpages that the directorynames are chosen random but
cannot find how asp.net find's it's compiled files when asking for the same
webpage which was complied before.

Can someone please tell me how I can get the last file added to a directory
( I am assuming it is a file attribute). I have built a text parsing
application. Right now I have to manually get the file to load it up. What
I want to be able to do is have the application (on load) check a directory,
get the last file added and parse the file itself. Can someone please tell
me how to do this?
Thanks
Tim

Visual C# 2005 Code Snippets -filesystem -Search a Directory for
Files Recursively
I don't believe DirSearch will return any results for files in the
root directory originally passed to it. Am I right? Here's the code:

I have a directory structure that is constantly being updated.
Config (Root)
--City (Sub-Dir)
----Address (Sub-Dir)
------File
I'm trying to create a script that will:
1. Scan a directory (will be a root dir) and place the directory names in a drop down box.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
