How to detect if program execution is in debug mode?

Bob
If I'm running the executable, I need to do something, but if I am running
the program fom within Visual studio I need to use another bit of code.

Thanks for any help.

Maybe the following solutions fit your requirements:

\\\
#If DEBUG Then
Console.WriteLi ne("Debug mode.")
#Else
Console.WriteLi ne("Release mode.")
#End If
///

Make sure that the option "Configurat ion settings" -"Build" "Define DEBUG
constant" in the project properties is checked.

- and/or -

You can check if a debugger is attached:
'System.Diagnos tics.Debugger.I sAttached'.

After adding Smarty, I ran the following http://localhost/testphp.php

Hi! I have a problem programming a simple client-server game, which is called pingpong ;-) The final program will first be started as a server (nr. 2) and then as a client. The client then sends the message "Ping" to the server, which reads it and answers with a "Pong". The game is really simple and the coding should be also very simple!...

Alright, I seem to be at a loss for what I am looking for, and I am not even really all that sure if it is possible or not. I found the 'pdb' debugger, but I was wondering if there was something that would trace or log the order of line execution for a multi-module Python program. I am having a little bit of a problem tracking down a problem...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
