cant find Reporting Services in VB2005

Hello,

In VB2003 I can access Reporting Services by selecting a New Project option
of Business Intelligence Projects. But I don't see an option like that in
VB2005. My question then, is if when using VS2005, you can only use the
Reporting Services that comes with Sql Server 2005.

I have VS2003 and VS2005 on my workstation, and use Sql Server2000 for the
datasource. Am I limited to using only VB2003 in order to get Reporting
Services? Or does VB2005 have something different (maybe something even
better)?

Thanks,
Rich

Can anyone provide any feedback to the overall comparison between these 2 products as I am finding RS frustrating and am wondering if it is just a matter of re-adjusting and spending more time on it or if anyone else is finding RS more trickey to use than...

We are planning to deploy the MS Reporting Services. Unfortunately, there isn't much guidance on how to effectively size a server. Here are my questions: 1) In an environment with 1 reporting server (hosting the reporting data layer, application, and management layer) connecting to 1 or more SQL servers (over 2 trunked 1Gbps switches connections), what is the constraining resource when running large reports against a database of say...

I am asking this question here because I asked this question in the Reporting Services Newsgroup and did not get an answer. Does anyone know if Reporting Services is intended to work in a client/Server or Local machine environment? Based on what I have seen my guess is yes but that is a guess. In some materal it talks about it running on a web server but my supposition is that this does not necessarily mean that it would not make for a...

I'm using VS 2005, SQL 2005 reporting services. SQL reporting services is working, and I have it both on my local computer, as well as on a server. I've created a report in the SQL Business Intelligence development studio that works in that environment. I've uploaded the same report to both the Reporting services on my local computer as well as the server, and can log in to them and run the

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
