Automate Remote Desktop web login

I'm stuck on a pretty big problem, and can't seem to find a solution,
so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm working with the default page generated for remote desktop web
clients (in the TSWeb folder), and I'm trying to automate the login.
There is a UserName property that allows me to set the username, but I
need to automate the password too!

Looking at MSDN, there appears to be an advanced interface that allows
for "put_ClearTextP assword"
However, I've been working on this for the last two days, and just
can't figure out how to get to it.

PLEASE, there's gotta be someone out there who has used this before in
scripting an automated login! Any examples or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have developped a Windows applcation (in C#) that allows, among other things, users to view and control the desktop of a remote Windows XP Pro machine. I have actually simply embedded the Remote Desktop ActiveX control in my C# app and this works fine. However i have now a new requirement for my app: multiple users have to be able to view and control the same remote desktop simultaneously using my application. Big problem:...

Hello All, I apology for posting to many groups but I wasn't sure which group would be best targeted with my question. I have inherited an ASP.Net application that requires some maintenance & bug fixes. I have been asked to also download a copy of the remote SQL Server database that it uses on the background for potential maintenance and changes as well.

I need to be able to start and stop a service on another computer on the network. But I cannot connect to the other computer using my standard user credentials. I have a separate login for that for which I use Remote Desktop to connect to the other machine. The other machine is a test server where my Windows Service application is running. It is an inconvenience to have to connect through Remote Desktop just to start and stop the...

To demonstrate my problem, I have a very simple VB Windows application. It has a text box that is used to display a counter, a button to reset the counter, and a timer that increments the counter every second. I remote desktop to the computer hosting this application and run the application. It starts up and displays the counter incrementing every second. If I disconnect the network cable between the two computers for 10 seconds and...

Hi all, This is a long shot, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask... I have some applications that work fine when I run them on my PC at work, but "fail to initialize (0x000005)" when I'm attached to that PC from home via Remote Desktop. These applications are all console apps written in native C++. The common thread (at this point I've done no serious investigation) seems to be that they all call into a C++/CLI library that, in...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
