Hi All,
Currently I have a storage server to allow users to store their files in a
central location. In this server, there are many sub-folders for different
departments.
What I would like to do is to have a script to generate a listing that will
show in each folder who are the users accessible to the folder and what are
the permission granted to them.
Please guide me on this how can I come out with the script.
Thank you.

Thanks Cor,
However the link that you provided is meant for getting the
directories/folder information.
Do you have any idea on writing a script to get the list of users and the
permission granted?

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right forum, but hopefully someone can help me.
I am creating something for our intranet and i want to list the files and
folders of a directory, i found some code to do this.
The only problem is that it lists the asp file used to for example if i go to:
"http://myserver/listing.asp" In the file listing will be "listing.asp"
amongst a lot of marketing documents.

I am not sure if this is even possible, but I figured I'd ask some experts.
How would I use an ASP.NET page to get a listing of all of the files that
are in a folder. I am working on a page that can show a group of users if
their reports are in a folder (kind of like a report distribution page). If
that is possible then how could I put a link on the page to that file so the
user could open it.
Thanks!

Greetings.
I use asp.
what I need is is when a visitor comes to the site, I need it to check
the host name. if "www.hometowndigest.com" is the host, then check a
folder named "something" and if the folder does not exsist, create
folder "www" and then copy folder "temp" and its contents.
If the folder "www" is there, look in it, check to see if the files in
folder "temp" are in there, if not, copy the files that are not from
folder...

While I guess a Windows issue, does anyone know the offending files and even
better, how to resolve it ? Otherwise I need to...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
