Hi.
I have several controls at the same position. The are made visible one
after the other using the .Visible property.
While in the design view, I see only the upper control. How can I make
underlying controls visible (in the design view)?
TIA

I have a piece of functionallity that is replicated on several pages. This
would be a good candidate for a custom control right?
Well I found a couple of tutorials (none really helpful) so I created a
simple asp app and added a custom control to the project.
Now to the problem. I created the control using a GridFlow control so that

I am in need of some advice on how to do the following:
Have some type of container on form that would fill the visible area on
screen (assuming the browser was maximized). I would like to specify a
number of vertical columns that would be equally spaced. I would then like
to be able to dynamically add a variable number of various types...

I have a Panel1 and button1 on my webform. At runtime, I create 2 textboxes.
I do it at the Page_Load event. I put the code within the " If Not
isPostBack"
For the button click event, I will do a post-to-database coding and then
show the same page again. I put EnableViewState = True for the textboxes.
In the Page_Load if I dont use the...

Hi:
I'm using the Repeater control to display one-to-many relationship between
Customer, Orders and Order Items. To do this, I bind the control to
Customer table to show customer data, then call a function from item
template to generate Order and Order items which are returned as a string
containing HTML markup tags.
Since the Orders...

I have included below virtually all the code to a control I'm trying to
build. My issue is that an array list property in my control does not get
persisted properly to the aspx page code in design time. If I type the code
in the aspx manually it does get parsed correctly though.
This is an example of the aspx code that gets parsed...

Hi all,
It's been a long while since I've posted or used access and one of the
things that had me stop was the realisation I couldn't dynamically add
new controls to a form. I am using Access 97/2000.
So I guess my questions are:
First up, a double check - You can't dynamically add controls to
access 97/2000 forms right?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
