Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to load datagrid into datalist programatically using ITemplate interface with the following structure and place intp placeholder control.
PlaceHolder
- DataList
- DataGrid (DataList Item)
I have hierarchical data that I want to display using webcontrols whilst calculating minimum cost for each courier with Compute() method in DataGrid.

Hello,
I have a datagrid within another datagrid. The innder datagrid
contains a dropdownlist which fires an event as index change
(OnSelectedIndexChanged). I can get the ItemIndex of the dropdownlist
using this code below:
((DataGridItem)((DropDownList)Sender).NamingContainer).ItemIndex;
This returns the ItemIndex of the dropdownlist of the inner datagrid.

I have a datagrid on a parent mdi form with connection1,
dataAdapter1, dataset1. From a main menu I call a child
form where I enter new data and update dataset1 with
dataAdapter2, connection2 on the child form, but the same
dataset (dataset1). The data is stored in a sql server DB
and is being stored correctly, but the new record is not
being displayed in the datagrid on the parent form. If I
close the app and re-open it, I can see the...

I have a dataset containing a parent table related to a child table. The
child table contains an ID field (which is configured as autonumber in the
datatable), the ID of the parent, plus some addition fields.
I'm able to get the datagrid to be properly populate with only the child
records relating to the specified parent by setting the
..DefaultView.RowFilter property.
Currently, to properly add a new child record, I need to manually...

When using a non CaseSensitive DataSet which has 2 tables, a parent and a
child with a one to one relationship (using col1 from both tables), as a
datasource for an DataGrid, the grid does not show child rows when the key is
in a different case. (ie: col1 = RG on parent row, col1 = rg on child row)
I did not find any reference to case sensitivity in the help for DataGrid.
Is this a bug or am I missing something ?
So, how can I get the...

I have been losing my mind trying to parse an XML document (with nested child
elements, not all of which appear in each parent node) into a DataGrid
object. What I want to do is "flatten" the XML document into a text
document with a single row for each parent node (that has all of the values
from all of the child nodes for that row)
The DataView within VS 2005 IDE displays my 15 or so child tables - and
knows that some parent rows...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
