Blocking ActiveX in WebBrowser Control

With VB.Net 05 and IE7, I'm trying to find a way to block any ActiveX
controls from loading in a standard WebBrowser control. For example, I
want to prevent Flash, Quicktime, etc. from running. Is there any way
to do this? Is there some way to tell it when it gets to a certain
point to filter out those specific elements?

Thanks in advance

We habe build up an application that exists of an main module (Standard Exe) that calls and controls other modules (ActiveX-Exe). We decided for ActiveX-Exe because they run in different processes. That means if...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
