I have an xml file that I get "As Is"
(at bottom of post)
I want to sort and exclude some elements, and
turn other child elements red, or its background.
I want it to look like this:
Tank Level Temperature

Let's say we're gonna make a system library and have a class with
two prerequisites.
* It will be used _a_lot_, and therefore need to be really efficient.
* It can have two different implementations. (e.g. Unix/Windows)
I feel stuck. The only solution I've seen so far is using the
design pattern 'abstract factory' that gives me a pointer...

I have this input element:

Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this. The last place I
posted got me a fairly rude response. I guess vb.db people just don't want to
think about XML as database. At any rate, here is what I posted:
I have downloaded the final production version of VS 2005 pro after testing
with Team version. I wonder if I've been screwed...

Is C really portable? And, apologies, but this is possibly a little OT?
In c.l.c we often see 'not portable' comments, but I wonder just how
portable C apps really are.
I don't write portable C code - *not only* because, in a 'C sense', I

Hi,
How can I turn off the compiler warnings in some specific spots in the code?
I don't want to turn off warnings for all project. I remember we had PRAGMA
feature in C++. Do we have the similar thing in C#?
Thank you,
Max

Hi
Can someone please enlighten me. I hear different things. Some
suggest that the difference between the languages in terms of
capability and versitility has really narrowed down to a point where it
does not make any difference which language you use. Some suggest that
C# is still far superior language.
Thanks in advance.

I found a really strange quirk in the C# compiler, which I can't beleive is
proper behaviour. If I define a class thus:
public class MyClass
{
public override string ToString()
{
return base.ToString();
}
}

#menuSystem { left: 0px; top: 45px; z-index: 1;}
#menuSystem table { font-family:Arial; font-size: 9pt;...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
