here is ThisWorkbook.Sh eets("xx") ?? Unable to resolve 'ThisWorkbook'

I am converting an EXCEL VBA application to Visual Basic (2003).

I am not having much luck finding how to convert statements containing
references to things like ThisWorkbook.Sh eets("sheetname ").

I am not using Visual Studio Tools (which may be my problem, tho I would
think that I don't really need the templates --- or do I??)

I'm trying to create a form in Excel to sort from the form and take the data to another worksheet. I am very new to this and any help would be appreciated. I have a value in a cell that will direct what sheet I want the cells copied to, so I thought I could use an If statement but have been unable to right the code properly, ie... If "f2" = 1 Then Sheets("XX1").Select

Hi, I am quite sure this question has answered here already several times, but I haven't found the answer yet. Anyway, here is the question again: I've got libraries (*.so) that are built with gcc 2.95.2. The gcc version, I've installed on my computer, is 3.xx and I don't have the source files of the libraries. Can I link those libraries without uninstalling my new 3.xx-compiler? Thanx for your answers in advance. Isn't there a secret...

I remember seeing a neat template specialization trick posted here a few months ago that allowed the detection of a type containing a member. After a day searching through google archives I come up zip. Anyhow, after much trial and error I came up with this. This "contains_member" template sets value to 1 if the type D contains a typedef named MEMBER of type TD.

This is causing me to not be able to create a relation in my dataset. Here's my code: dc1 = ds.Tables .Columns ; dc2 = ds.Tables .Columns ; dr1 = new System.Data.DataRelation ("categories2subcategories", dc1, dc2); ds.Relations.Add (dr1); dc1 always works fine. dc2 always returns null. There ARE records in

I have spent more time than I care to admit trying to track down a very subtle error. Here is my app's xx.exe.config file. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration> <appsettings> <add key="PasswordProvider" value="fudge" /> </appsettings>

Hi, can't figure this one out, what's the CSS way to specify the language? In HTML it would be simply an lang="xx" attribute, or XHTML xml:lang="xx", but, how about in CSS? This would be required for a screen reader (text to speech) for accessibility, to help the reader software use the correct presentation method (e.g. correct language module).

Hello, I've been wrestling with this problem for almost 4 months now. I am trying to run two instances of the same java server app on 1 linux box. Basically they are listening on seperate ports. The problem is that one of the apps continiously just"disappears" with no sysout or syserr message to find out what happened.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
