I have my code done to populate a treeview, but when I move it to the
backgroundworker I get an error "Action being performed on this control is
being called from the wrong thread. Marshal to the correct thread using
Control.Invoke or Control.BeginInvoke to perform this action (code to
follow). What am I doing wrong. I moved the LoadWIP function to the
backgroundworker DoWork method instead of calling the sub, but got the same

Hi,
I'm trying to populate a TreeView from an existing and filled in
ListView (lvwBuild). lvwBuild is a basic two column listview which can
have any number of rows. I would like the first column of lvwBuild to
be a node and the second column to be a branch on the TreeView
(hopefully I have the syntax correct). I've been researching how to
do this but have come up empty. I'm guessing that you would fill an

I have an application that creates a pretty intensive TreeView at startup
time. I had the program running on a single thread sucessfully, but the
startup time was a bit excessive. When the application starts up it is a
requirement for the user to log on, so in my magical wisdom, I thought shove
all this processing on another thread, so it loads while the user logs on. I
have all the code running on the thread OK, but I cannot figure out how...

Hi I have a procudure that takes some time and thus slows down the main
system. I want to put it in a backgroundworker component to run it
asynchroneously. But in the procedure, I want to update a TreeView control I
have on my main form.
When I try to do that, I get the error "Cross-thread operation not valid:
Control 'TreeView1' accessed from a thread other than the thread it was
created on"

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
