Request.Queryst ring and System.Net.Webr equest

Is there a known issue about System.Net.Webr equest interfering with
Request.Queryst ring? My web application pulls a record ID from a URL,
then uses that record ID to pull information a database. I then use
that pulled information to get information from a webservice with
System.Net.Webr equest and System.Net.Webr esponse.

Each one works independently, but when I try to use them both in the
same site (not even in the same class--the Request.Queryst ring is in the
codebehind, and the System.Net.Webr equest is in a standalone class as
part of a shared function), the Request.Queryst ring returns null every time.

Any ideas or suggestions (or alternative ways to access a
webservice--this is my first attempt)

..NET 2.0
IIS 6.0
Visual Web Developer Express Edition

Thanks,

Dave

Hello. This is the first time I've posted to a newsgroup, and I do this because I'm in desperate need of help. I'm working a user management system, and when I activate a user that has registered to my system, the current admin user logged in gets logged out. I can't seem to work out how - I can't even trace back where some of the variables are coming from (for example, the "ref" part of the Request.QueryString method). Could someone...

Dear C#Dex, I am trying to automate a POST to a web page that clicks a button. I have been able to hit a target web page and run the web page. However, the button on the page does not click. I can set the target web page to change to a new URL when I hit it, and that works, but I cannot get the button to click based on my POST command. Is there some secret to clicking the button? I have a button named btnGo and I set the value of...

my app was working fine in VB.NET 2003 (and framework 1.1). Now with VB.NET 2005 (framework 2.0) the uploading to an http server (ie. www.sharebigfile.com) stops with the error "The request was aborted: The request was canceled" after about 7 MB. For example, I might be uploading a 73MB file. After about 11% done the upload aborts. :shake: It works great for files < 5MB. I can upload those every time.

Hi I have a class library that needs to download the HTML in a specific page of ours with provided querystring. When I open this URL with any browser, it loads fine. When I do WebRequest from Web Project it is again fine. However whenever I do this request from this class library, it fails. I put every kind of user permission to the actual folder, and through inetmgr. Right now everyone has full control. But still I got the problem.

I'm writing an application that simplifies the interface to a few websites I use at my job. One of the web servers has a tendency to cause my program to throw a time out exception for a variety of reasons. This is an issue since this web site uses a persistent connection to keep you logged in. So if the request isn't finished and received by my program, the server keeps that open and after two time outs my program just becomes "hosed" and...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
