I'm trying to make a picture scroll within a panel on a Windows CE
device. However, when I add a panel and try to set its autoscroll
property to "true", the property seems to be missing. All the
documentation seems to indicate that Autoscroll was excluded from the
Windows CE panel control, but given that CE is for smaller devices,
this seems terribly short-sighted.
Is there a way to add a picturebox to a panel so that when the picture...

Hi,
I have a picturebox with a bitmap inside. I need to add a panel to the
picturebox, but I have to see behind. Meaning, the panel has to be
transparent but not invisible. This panel will hold other images that I
will or wont display through code.
I'm saying panel, but it really doesn't matter. It could be any container
control that has height/width and location properties.

I'm trying to figure out how to get Panel to autoscroll a picturebox
that changes size. Initially, the picture box is the same size as the
panel, but when I add a "zoom" function that doubles the picturebox's
size, the panel does not display any scroll bars.
Now, even in the IDE designer, I cann't get scroll bars to appear.
I've set the AutoScroll to True and nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
I am using large PictureBox inside a Panel, user can write on the PictureBox
(it is actually InkPicture) but the problem that I have is regarding the
Auto scrolling of the panel.. For example if a user scroll down and start
clicking or any other mouse/pen activity on the PictureBox, the Panel will
scroll back up. This happened only the first time the image is redrawn. The
subsequent mouse/pen activities will not cause the auto...

I’m using the Panel control that contains a PictureBox control (for
implementing the http://www.codeproject.com/cs/miscctrl/PictureBox.asp).
The Panel is set to AutoScroll = true.
I wish to scroll the appearing vertical and horizontal scrolls bars of the
Panel to the middle of their scrolling range so the contained PictureBox will
be centered inside the Panel.
But I could not find a way to get the scrolls bars for doing that.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
