We have an old WML1-based WAP site, and I have been asked to investigate
updating it to use colour images for modern WAP devices. As I understand
it (correct me if I'm wrong) colour image display uses .png images (as
opposed to the monochrome .wbmp imags) and requires WML2.
How can I make our site compatible with both newer colour...

Hi,
Is there a way to change the tab colour. I mean the tabs
themselves? Doesn't seem to be any colour property or a
tab font colour property either.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Seb

I'm trying to create many squares on a form and for every new square, change
the background colour to the next colour. I'm trying to create a colour
palette showing all available colours and their colour name.
My problem is that I can not figger out how to create a new panel at
specific intervals across and down the form. Here's the code I...

I am using the following statement in a script:
If (res == 123) document.write (" Blah Blah");
else
document.write (" XYZ");
This of course brings up a new page on my site and prints Blah Blah.
However, the colour of the page is white & I want it to match the colour of
the html page from which the original request was sent. I have...

Hello,
I am new to CSS and come from an embedded/electronics background. Could some help with a question on
colours and palettes using named colours rather than hex values (ie color: #aabbcc). Could not find
a solution either in my CSS book or scouring the web.
As far as I can tell colours are set using pre-determined named colours (red,...

Hi,
I asked Bjarne Stroustrup about the idea of adding colour standard for
C++, and he said that it is very difficult for compiler vendors to
change their IDE. But do you think it is possible ? Note that the
proposed colour standard is not just merely to ease the eye only as
what presently is in C++ compilers, but to aid in syntax...

Hi. I've made 2 functions which play around with colours.
They convert a 'colour number' (I don't know what the proper name for it is, so I call it this - the Long given back by RGB(), object.BackColor, etc, which represents a value of red, green and blue) into another 'colour number' but this is a greyscale version of it.
There are 2...

his pages and so he asked me for a big list with some colour...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
