I'm trying to get a combox in a datagridview to be displaying diffrent
filtered data each time it lands on a row. I thought of adding the follwing
code as a test. Later I would have verified that the code only executed when
entering the cell of the combobox column just so that we would not get fills
when entering every cell in a row. In any case I wrote.
Private Sub TblCompanyDataG ridView_CellEnt er(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e
As System.Windows. Forms.DataGridV iewCellEventArg s) Handles
TblCompanyDataG ridView.CellEnt er
Me.TblCompanyTa bleAdapter1.Fil l(Me.DsCompanyP arentLookup.tbl Company)
End Sub
All the underlying databinding mechanism works OK but just adding the one
line of code above to the cellenter sub and going back from the code window
to the form designer window and I get a blanked form designer with the red
message and no errors in the list.
I comment out the offending line of code, Form comes up OK. Just for the
H... I uncommnent the line of code again and try to go to the form designer.
Now its OK.
Talk about being a stable development environment. This is a joke!
I'm seriously thinking about switching to something else. It seems I'm just
too stupid to use this stuff.<Gggg>
Anyone here can tell me if they're having the same sort of problems or am I
unique? ;-)
Thanks,
Bob
