I'm currently using a context menu to allow the user to add, rename and
delete nodes in a treeview control. When a node is added we give it a bogus
name ("NewNode") and invoke the add method. We would then to then select the
newly added node and rename it but can't figure out how to select the node
via code.
How do you select a node from code when you don't know the index?

Thanks

I have an application where there are two radio buttons each of which
populates a treeview control with a directory structure. Each radio button
corresponds to a different directory which may or may not have some
subdirectories with the same name. I am not having any problems populating
the treeview with the corresponding directory structure when switching
between radio buttons. In the treeview's AfterSelect event, I take the path
from...

Hi.
I'm working with the TreeView control in my ASP.NET 1.1 application. I have
a problem I haven't been able to figure out. When I click on a node (not
expand), whether it's a parent node, a child node or a leaf node then a
DataGrid is populated based on the node's ID property. If I expand a node
then the DataGrid is not populated. This works fine. The problem is that
this doesn't work if I collapse the tree. If I collapse the tree...

Hi,
I want to display a 'hover box' (for want of a better description) when
the mouse hovers over a node in a tree view. The box would display
detail information for the node. It should be small, something like a
tool tip.
Does anyone have any idea of how to do this? I would really appreciate

Hi All,
I have a form that displays hierarchical categories in a treeview. Ok so
far so good. What I was to do is have users be able to select a node in the
treeview as part of filling out the form. I only want to allow single
selection, so using checkboxes is out of the question. It works as is, but
it makes the form very cumbersome if every time that a user selects a node,
the whole page has to reload. Is there a way to have a node...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
