Are there methods for manipulating images in JavaScript that would allow me
to write functions to rotate, skew, mask and resize images (bitmaps)?
The functions need to be fast enough for use in a top-down scrolling game.
Or would I be better off preprocessing all of the images with something
server side such as PHP and then preloading them into my JavaScript already
manipulated?
The only thing I don't like about the idea of...

I have been using a module for printing labels in Access 97, and
although it works fine, I would like to add a small enhancement to it.
The module allows for setting the number of labels to print and/or to
skip; however, the Cancel command button does not function, nor does
clicking the X-close. Clicking either one is the same as clicking the
OK button.
Since the module creates and displays the dialog box, I will need a
piece of code to...

Hi,
I'm using visual studio dotnet 2002 programming in vb
can anyone tell me how I can handle the mousedown event for pictureboxes I
create dynamically at runtime?
I've tried setting the mousedown to handle mybase.mousedown but it doesn't
detect the mousedown event until I move out of the pictureboxes I have
created (only works on the part of the form where I don't have any
pictureboxes). I also cannot set the mousedown event to...

Hi
I am looking for either a component or technique to allow me to do the
following:
* Provide a panel with a background image
* Resize the image to best fit the panel to maintain aspect ratio
* Provide white (or other color) borders at the sides or the top/bottom
The last point would be used to allow users to resize the panel to any ratio

As part of my app I am programatically adding some Label controls to a form
at runtime. The code for these is part of a function that is overrriding the
Paint event of the form. The other stuff that is drawn in the same function
works fine when I resize the screen (some lines and so on) but the labels
remain.
I tried deleting them by putting the following in the forms' resize event
(the labels are the only "controls" on the form):
for...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
